About
Jeanine Fiser is a writer/director based in Los Angeles. Her films are tender, emotional, and often explore themes of intimacy, identity, and transformation—told through the lens of drama and romantic comedy.
Recently, she directed several short-form narrative series for a major mobile-first platform (DramaBox), where she honed her skills managing fast-paced productions, working with talent, and shaping serialized storytelling. In 2024, she also directed Tell Me, a short film commissioned by the 2024 Frieze Fellowship (sponsored by Deutsche Bank, Ghetto Film School, and FIFTH SEASON), which has been embraced by the queer film festival circuit, earning positive reactions and a Best Comedy Short award.
Jeanine’s earlier work received critical recognition for its emotional storytelling and strong performances, as well as festival accolades. Her short documentary This Little Piggy Went to Market was shortlisted for a student BAFTA, and her film The Green Motel earned a Best Acting award and screened at multiple regional festivals.
In addition to directing, she has worked professionally in both production and post, including roles on Black Monday, The Afterparty, and Them, and as an associate story editor on Keeping Up With The Kardashians and Surviving R. Kelly.
She is currently focused on expanding into episodic television directing, bringing a strong visual sensibility, emotional clarity, and efficient production experience to every project.
